The IQCath^® Balloon Dilatation Catheter is a specialty three-in-one device that performs angioplasty, delivers physician-specified fluids, and performs thrombectomy without exchanging catheters or losing guidewire position. The three-in-one device includes an angioplasty balloon, embolectomy coil and Hotspur's proprietary VisioValve™ injection technology. The IQCath^® is indicated for use in synthetic arteriovenous dialysis fistulae to remove embolic material (thrombus/debris) and dilate stenosis for treatment of obstructive lesions.

Dialysis access interventions are frequent and time-consuming. Typically, cases require two to three device exchanges and the potential loss of guidewire position between each exchange.
